Last night Wednesday 22 October 2008 I performed for Jim Smallman and the Giggling Badger comedy club in Nuneaton .

After an arduos drive thanks to a lorries shed load of building materials I finally got to the gig. Then after 3 attempts to park my car I could relax, well as much as possible as you can before a gig.

It was nice to see Jim again, he helped me and my other comedic course colleagues a year and a half ago so it was good to gig for him.

The venue The Anker Inn was absolutely packed full, which is always good although it got a little hot in there.

Still free drinks helped cool me down and a kidnly audience member got me a pint too, even if he did balk at my request for a coke, so I upgraded to a shandy which got only a slightly less disapproving look.

I also signed my first autograph on the night which was nice and met some other guys from the circuit.

These being Skatz, Jem, Big D, Jims dad and best of all Gary Delaney. I’ve been a fan of Gary Delaney now for several years and it was a pleasure to meet him properly and share the stage on the same bill.

The audience were fantastic and played along like a good audience should, very enthusiastic and welcoming and they made the gig a favourite of mine already.

Cheers guys and gals, cheers Jim , The Giggling Badger and other acts. I look forward to doing the Hinckley venue in the New Year .

Bye
